    Hi guys,

As some of you may already know i am gonna be starting a Youtube channel to help Surge promote this site. I will be posting at least 3 pokemon battles, or something pokemon related every week.

However, because of the way that Youtube works, i wouldn't even start getting promotion until i can get at least several hundred views, and for that i need to make other videos.

Staying close to the heart of this channel, what would the members of this site like to see me make videos of, out of the selection above? I've tried to spread the genre a bit.

Also, the last thing i require before starting this channel is a headset, if anyone knows of any cheap yet decent brands which will clearly record my voice, please let me know in the comments below :3

    Thanks,
    Jace

I think indie games get some good views. The Binding of Issac is pretty popular right now. Also, Horror games + view of the players face and reactions is great imo. Like Play SCP Containment Beach with a window in an upper corner so we can see how you react to playing it with live commentary.

Minecraft/TF2/Garry's Mod are still pretty "famous" (Not sure though since I've grown bored of that by now lol), but there's already so many videos on YouTube that yours would probably take a while to get attention =x The Binding of Isaac, like Quincy said, is probably good. It's pretty much randomly generated so it's a different run every time, and there's lots of items to find. Of course, there's Northernlion and his (at the time I'm posting this) 679 episodes to compete with...

Other indie games are also nice, they seem to have had a pretty decent amount of attention lately. Unfortunately, PewDiePie has a pretty obnoxious fanbase that has the bad habit of bashing smaller channels and claiming that they're copying PDP and what not, so you might not want to go down the horror game alley unless you just ignore those comments. That said, there are some neat indie games like Valdis Story: Abyssal City, Rogue Legacy, Bastion, Braid, Snapshot, Cave Story+, Dust: An Elysian Tail, FEZ, among others, that have neat graphics and decent stories. Heck, you could even try out The Stanley Parable just for the WTF factor; that game can be so trippy! xD

Either Fallout game (3 or New Vegas) would be nice. It has loooooads of quests that'll get you a lot of episodes.

Personally, I'd rather have some playthroughs of games like Fallout, BioShock and other indie games like that.

Sorry if that was a bit long, I have the bad habit of rambling on e.e
